when does one exactly use this stuff? i am not sure and there wasnt anything in the archives per say. i am thawing out a coyote that i already tanned and had in the freezer and am going to mount it today. should i mix the presoak solution and put the hide in there to help it thaw faster or should i just let it thaw out at normal speed and mount it? i have the presoak stuff and it says to use it prior to mounting, but for some reason im not sure what stage to use the stuff, before the animal is tanned or after just before you mount it? also can you use the stuff on fish after letting it soak in the borax water solution? thanks.

MK.... I always used it while rehydrating a tanned skin B4 mounting.
If you mount Birds, use it after your last rinse. It will last about a year once applied.
