hi folks,i have a guy that brought me a 120 class 8pt that was hit by him with his truck(it does have the state police ticket on it),he gave it to for practice but he cut it way to short for a full shoulder,so i thought id try a neck mount so my question is on page 18 in the john rinehart cat. is the pic of the neck mannikin but does it have the wooden back?it kinda looks rounded or am i seeing it wrong?thanks again

I don't have the catalog, but all neck mannikins have plywood backing panels. You COULD try a shoulder mount form and just cut it off so you'd have a little more neck. Then place a piece of plywood on the back and secure it with epoxy, foam, or even Bondo. Once you staple the hide to it, it won't go anywhere.
