I have just purchased some captive bred waterfowl. What documentation do I have to provide people who purchase the mounts?

Federal forms should have come with the birds. I don't pretend to know the law of all fifty states, but in Texas you are required to have a hatching number, or brood number. That can be dificult since some states don't have that requirement. I tried to bring in some wildfowl from South Dakota, and Texas required the number, but South Dakota didn't require breeders to provide it......The end result was that I gave up after a year of trying.
Federal law is uniform and precise. Each State can interpret the Federal Guidelines and State Regulations, while often parroting the USFWS Statutes (50 CFR 20), are written specifically. You need to check with your state Fish and Wildlife folks to learn the requirements in your home state - AND conform to Federal Law.
