Ear Repairs

I'm just a hunter, not a taxidermist. I shot a nice buck this past weekend, and when I took it to the processer, a slit was cut to put a name tag in. I want to mount this buck. Can the ear slit be repaired?

Most Likely

This is probably going to be an easy fix. That's assuming thre the butcher didn't tear it apart. Even if he did mess it up, the ear can be replaced. This is a repair that I charge extra for. If all I have to do is patch a small ear hole, I don't charge extra. Just use a competent taxidermist and the only people who will know it has been repaired are you and the taxidermist...

Thanks

Thanks for the help! It's good to hear that from a professional who knows what they're doing... unlike me! Thanks again!
