Whats the best Taxi magazine a "newbie" could subscribe to? I am starting a Taxidermy class at Surry Community college in North Carolina Jan. 5,05. Wanting to get ahead of the game. Thanks for any info.

Either Breakthrough or Taxidermy Today, but Id say that Breakthrough is better.
BUT, if you have the money, you'd be wise to subscribe to both Breakthrough and Taxidermy Today. They're alike yet nothing close to each other. They complement each other.
Your money will be well spent, and if you take care of them, you will get every penny back, if you should decide to sell them later down the road,in the not so distant future. Good Luck

I'm going to Randolph, Archdale, NC. I like Taxidermy Today because they have alot of basic type stuff and Breakthrough has alot of African stuff. How often I will get to do African in Lexington? I suscribe to both and enjoy both but I like T.T.. Hope it helps!
the class is full! They said I was the first to be put on the list if someone backs out. But I have went ahead and ordered the two magazines and may try some of this on my own. I guess what I am saying is,I may very well get alot of my training from the help of the fine people right here at Taxidermy.net! Thanks for all the imput on the magazines.
