i have mounted 5 deer so far and everyone has had what looked to be like mold on the inside of the ear. is there something that i'm not doing or something i i'm doing wrong. any help would be appreciated. thanks, ken

are you carding the ears with? I used lexan once and got mold,not enough air got to it.maybe your problem.
The inside of the ear down by the butt always molds for me to . It is from not enough air flow to dry that part of the ear. It is always the last part to dry especially if you use clay for the ear butt. It doesn't hurt anything just wipe it out with lacquer thinner when it is dry.
