just wondering what temp you should keep your freezer at and how long things can stay in there, birds , fish... thanks

Unless you are keeping food in the same freezer as your birds,etc,the temp. doesn't have to be lower than 12-15 degreesF.The stuff will still be hard a rock.
I have a walk-in freezer it is set to shut off at 15 and come back on at12 degrees. Never had amy problems. Stuff will thaw a little quicker at +12-15 degrees that from - 12-15 degrees. Plus , I don't think the stuff will freezer burn as quick.
