and then there's slacking. I don't know how old this person is, but I would tell an Elementary School aged kid to "look it up" (using some effort) first.
Asking on an Internet Forum or Chatboard is not the same as doing a search on Google.

make the kid work a little on his homework. That's why they call it homeWORK. With all the resources now a days, there is no way that he could not have found the answers on his own. You don't even have to go to the library anymore these day. Do it from your computer at home. How much easier could it be to find what you are looking for?

But then again it is always easier still to have someone else give you the answers then looking it up for yourself and doing a little research.
