To stuff it, and call "keyestone fur dressing" in PA! Most tanneries except capes and skins from around the world from others besides taxidermists
the problem is, they are at a driving distance from me, any other place i have to ship
Sometimes we have to ship things in this business. Figure the cost and add that to the price of your product. The only other option is to do it yourself.
Learn how to do it you're self. I enjoy tanning my own, I think that tanning is the most important part of the job, that takes the least amount of effort to do. What do you have trouble with that you want to send the capes out for tanning?
i never tried to tan anything, but now i just order krotann 2000, i also order a tanning video, and ill take from there. i also order a fleshing knife and i would do all. fleshing, turn lips, eyes, nose, tanning ,mounthing. the thing that bother me is how this tanning company refuse to take my skins because i am not a full time taxidermist. anyway they lost money not me
Get a licence from the State you live in. You do not have to be full time to get one. In my State, I have to be licenced just to do the hobbie. Better check the laws out in you're State. If you have a licence, they will take and tan the capes.
