hide is too thin

have a bear hide that i have thinned into the cuticles. and was wondering if hide paste under these areas will lock hair into place.

also had a cape with some minor slippage behind one ear it is all mounted up. will it continue to slip once completely dried ?

Yes to the hide paste, and no to the slipage
