antlers

Hi,
I have been given some antlers still on the skull plate. I use antlers on art work, and prefer to use sheds because I like the looks of the burr. Is there a way to take the antlers off the skull plate so they look like a shed antler?

I could use a saw, but then it would look like a cut off antler not a shed with a nice burr.

ok

saw the antlers at the base of the skull, then use a fine drill bit to get that rugged look. besides that, thats about all u can do. hope this helps.
