Im looking for info on the detatchable antler kits. are they easy to install and do they realy work? I have a 350 class bull that had fallen off the wall and basicly shattered the skull plate. so all I realy have is two big sheds to mount. any suggestions?

Get a piece of STEEL Sqaure tubing I use 3/4 if possible
Get an additional piece of 3/4 square steel solid stock.
Clamp the solid stock in a vise and use a belt sander to grind the two sides off so it fits in the sq. tubing.
Drill your hole thru the skull plate matching up the anter shed. with a bit.
Plug the end of the tubing so that resin cannot go into the tubing.
Insert the tubing and pour catalized resin into the hole around the outside of the tubing.
Once this sets repeat the other side.
Now you have the set attached like it never broke.
Use a fine toothed hack saw blad and cut thru the pedicule.
Insert the sq. solid steel stock and replace the antler.
Its far better than the KITS sold!
Mix polyester resin
John C is 100% correct. I have been doing that for years on moose and elk. If you can't find the square tubing and matching solid stock, call Jonas Bros., Taxidermy Supply. They have what your looking for. Throw their instructions away and stick with John's method.
