Not to sure on using this product so any help would be helpful. Tanning a black bear rug and just put in the Lutan F,after pulling the hide out how would you mix this lipoderm liquor with water or just put straight on to the hide after it has been rinsed? Any instruction after this would be a great help? Thank you

Have been tanning with Basyntan and Lutan F for about 15 yrs now and Lipoderm is my lippitizer of choice.Generally I apply it a little watered down and warm.The ammonia in the Lipoderm is more active and penetrates better.This was a tip given to me by a Master tanner working for BASF.The only thing you have to watch out for is that after application the hide has to be dried within the next couple of days or especially in there is a danger the hair will get a greasy film on it.I found it to be a very good product for larger hides like bear,deer,etc.Hope to have helped you out a little.You should find product information through BASF USA.Good luck.
