Can anyone attend Taxidermy Conventions?

Hello,
Can't say enough good things about this site. I bought some videos, am about to order a few "Breakthrough" books because that is what seems to be recommended to totally ignorant non taxidermist people like me to get an idea of how and why things are done.
My question is can anyone attend the taxidermy conventions? Do they have areas where you can look at all the mounts and see what people are doing? Do you have to be a member of a state organization?
Any answers to these questions or general comments about what goes on at these things will be apppreciated.

Check with your state.

For most state shows, you must be a member and pay the required fees to attend or enter a mount in the show.

The show is for EDUCATION the sooner you enter the faster you learn.

The NTA show you need to be a member of the NTA and most times your state assoc.

The World Show is the show that will knock your socks off!

You will have so many seminars to pick from, you will miss some!

The mounts will br incredible, you will see there is a difference.

Both the NTA and WTC have literally DOZENS of seminars that you can sit in on and see the very best artisans in our industry perform their magic. Most state shows also provide seminars and the larger ones even challenge the National and World shows with their seminar hosts. Join your state association and get started with the people who already surround you.
