I have a Longhorn display, Dk brown tips, rather light yellowish length with touches of gray. I also have a steer hide rug, Dk rich rust and brown with cream under the legs. I want to stain the horns creamy brown to match the rug. How do I do this ?

better off to paint the horns the color ya want with an airbrush . Blend the colors together for the effect you are looking for. Stains may come out darker than you wanted or the older colors may show through.
