i'm mountng a bird , and skinned it and rubbed it with borax, do i wet wash it now before mounting

You should have removed all the fat from between the feather tracts as well as split all wattles or fleshy areas. The flesh needs to be removed from the skull, wings, and legs, and then all the membranes need to be pulled from the skin. It should be wire wheeled to get the remaining fat off.
Then you should wet wash it.
