I have a preserved coyote face that I want to use in the making of a Mandella.(an American Indian wall hanging sort of like a Dream Catcher) My problem is the nose of the coyote face has turned inside out.The face itself is rather stiff and enlogated. Is there a way that I can soak the face in something or soften it up in some way that I can turn it right side out without tearing it or having to cut it and sew it back together?

wrap it in a damp towel and put it in a plastic bag,,,and put it in the refrigerator and check it every hour or so,,,,,,,,,it shouldnt take long for the face skin to be damp and pliable,,,,turn the nose and work the skin til it has a little stretch,,,,tack it to a peice of plywood ,,,,hair side up,,,,use a hairdryer to fluff the hair,,,when it is dried ,,,,,,,remove and procede with mandella,,,,,hope this helps ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jim
