Duck Foot Casting

I am going to try and cast a duck foot for a swimming mount. I am going to use the Por-a-mold thixotropic medium hardness and cast it with Por-a-kast. I read the article in Taxidermy Today by Paul Rhymer. He did not mention whether or not a releasing agent was needed on the foot when making the mold. Should I spray the foot prior to molding it? Also, if there are any other suggestions, I am definitely open to them. I have read everything in the archives under "Casting Duck Feet". One more thing, if I mold the foot with the webs spread, do I need to make a releif cut down the back of each toe when demolding? Or is a single cut down the back of the keg sufficient? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you post again and direct it to cur, he will put you in the right direction. As far as a release agent on the foot, I believe that is correct. But cur is top notch on what your asking.
