I was mounting up my sons buck and was having trouble getting the
ear butts into position on the form and still have skin between them to sew up.Now I even fleshed real thin measured twice and stretched the neck area.I found out my ear liners were to big,so I trimmed them even more.Everything worked out.Going to buy some small natra look liners for next time to see if they fit better. This was a liqua tanned cape also.I like the look of the ear liners as opposed to bondo. This has always been one of my problem areas, hope this helps someone.

Hi Steve,
I happen to like the celastic ear liners. I trim to fit, and cut a portion of the butts off. I personally like to form my ear butts with clay, for me it gives more flexibility to work with, and you can always add more if needed through the ear conal. Just another way to try.
Regards,
Mark.
