rabbit ears

could anyone tell me if there is a trick with removing the cartilage on rabbit ears.

Here's some help. I just found out I'm doing this right so I'll tell you how I did it.

I injected each ear full of air and preserve-it and mushed it around until I got to at least 1 edge. Then I took a tool and I put this between the outside "back" skin of the ear and the cartilage. Within 5 minutes per ear, I had a perfectly turned ear. You then tan the skin as normal then you can remove the ear butt and cartilage as high up as you want, right before you mount.

Rabbit ears are big but don't let them be intimidating.

It took me longer to turn the ears of tiny little animals (mink size) manually (the ol razor blade cutting side away from side thing) the next day.
