Replacment Whitetail nose's

I was hoping to get a opinion or some insite on a question I have. I'm going to be competing in my state taxidermy competition this year with a whitetail deer. I'm planning on using a artificial nose and was wondering if this is accepted by the judge's as a taxidermist's recreation. Or do they look at it as snap together taxidermy? Would I be abel to score higher if I made a septum and scuplted the nostral detail myself?

you create your own septum and nostril detail, keep in mind if you blotch it, you will have been better off going the other route. good luck with your mount
