I'm gratified that you think I might help, but to DP a deer hide is about as basic as you can get. I fear that for a 60 minute VHS tape, we'd only use 5 minutes. I sense that you're looking for a more detailed look at actual hide preparation and there are already some exceptional tapes done by taxidermists a lot more skilled than I out there. Dennis Behn has a pair of tapes through McKenzie that come to mind quickly and I know several other suppliers also sell them.
