first time this year this has happened to me. i have a couple deer hides that were fleashed real well, all meat and fat chunks gone, anyways have resalted them 3-4x's now and each one has about a 5-8" diameter circle in the middle of the hide where it is sorta greasy and flexible, not dried out hard like the other areas of the hide. but these areas are thinned out w/ no fat, will this be a problem getting it tanned? anything i can do? thanks
