Just thought I'd let all of you who commented on my old thread about losing a guy's buck to a dog, that I now have it back! It was brought to a guy's house about 1/2 mile from my house by a full (and I mean FULL) sized Great Dane. I didn't even know that guy had a Great Dane, and I never saw that dog, or its tracks in my yard. The skull is in nearly perfect shape, and will still make a nice european mount. (By the way, I called the owner, to tell him I lost it the day before I got it back! He told me "Oh don't worry about it, it's no big deal") Happily I was able to call him back the next day to let him know I got it back!

I'm glad to hear you got it back.

Great Danes love skulls for some reason. My Great Dane was the best dog you could have, extremely well behaved and well trained. She wouldn't touch anything, not even her own food, unless I'd give her permission/command. But when it came to skulls, she just couldn't keep her teeth off of them. Took them at any chance she got( even behind my back when I was present), and tried to hide them. Like a little kid who can't keep its hands out of the cookie jar. LOL
I agree, you need to chance your name to MIGHTY LUCKY
Remember I said call him and he might not even be upset about it. Now keep your skulls under closer watch and key; free lessons in life are a rare gift.
