I have two Dall sheep that I want to do lifesize mounts on for my showroom. I am not familiar with sheep at all. They are both small sheep. One is a male the other a female. The female measures 6" x 31 X 46 and the male measures 5 1/8" X 31 x 42. I can not find anything even close to being this small in a dall sheep form. Are these sheep campariable to the Mouflon.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Terri

I have mounted a few Dalls here in Alaska and know your problem. Last time we used a Bighorn ewe form from Research Mannikins and it was perfect for a medium sized ram.
are you talking about Dall sheep from Alaska ? or "Texas" dall sheep? Those measurements don't sound right for the smallest Dall sheep.
Jim,
They didn't come from Alaska. I bought them off a man here in Michigan that raises them and sells them to game ranches.
They are both young sheep. He said they were about 2 years old.
Jack,
I looked in the Research book and couldn't find a bighorn ewe form.
Any more suggestions?
Please help, I'd love to mount these for my showroom.
Thanks
Terri
