Painting the Flemmen Nose insert

Submitted by Jason on 2/24/05 at 10:43 AM. ( ) 64.12.116.203

Hello
I am about to do my buddies deer and he wants that lip curl insert, so I bought the Flemmen one and it was like 50 bucks. I must admit that I am a little nervouse to airbrush this thing to look natural.
Is there a step by step paint scheme for these things or some type of reference I can find somewhere.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank You
Jason

Look on page 500 of the newest McKenzie catalog. If you have an older one there is one there too, maybe a different page number. They have a paint schedule and a photo you can purchase if you need one. Should be able to paint it straight from the catalog

If I were you I would get some good reference photos showing the inner mouth or buy the Joe Meder tape. McKenzie's catalog is decent for a guide line but you will want more detail.
