Hi all, I am going to call my wildlife and fisheries office tomorrow but thought I'd get some advice from you guys also.
I am thinking about buying animals off of this site and mounting them and then selling them on Ebay. I am getting animals off of this site to practice with so I can get my taxidermy license in the near future and take customers but I need to get rid of all these mounts that are filling my room up. Has anyone done this before and what should I look out for? I am in Louisiana so if anyone from down here has some advice please help me out!

You better see if you should have gotten the license before you filled the house up. You may be illegally working and tomorrows phone call may be fatal. Better know you're State laws. And we wouldn't know them, as you are the only one responsible to find out just what they are, or if there even are any laws on taxidermy in Louisiana.
I got a fur buyers license and a trappers license, I needed those to buy the furs but I didn't have to have anything else because I wasn't selling them. Just thought someone else might do this type of thing and just figured I'd give it a try.
