Well, you could go with the adage, 'if they're grossly big then they're probably fake'. I can usually tell the difference up close, but they're getting better and better every year and sometimes it's hard to tell, depends on the supplier. Get a set, I'm sure you'll like them, they aren't cheap, expect to pay from $200-$400+. You have to wonder if replicas are driving up the price of real antlers. The real ones are at a all time high in my book..

Nice looking sets of whitetails and mostly mule deer. Starting at $100 and up. All replicas, but I do have some real sets, but they will sell for a whole lot more.
