What I say is best is not what someone elses OPINION of the best is.

I say Mod PODGE and a super small artist brush for beginners, then you will try something else and develope your own technique.

I put a small layer of clay on the nose of the form before mounting as this helps setting the nostrils if there are any irregularities in the form. The next day after mounting I take a hatpin and follow the cracks in the nose. This plumps up the nodules. I also use Modgpodge on occasion to build them even more. This is basically the Mears method and works well.
