Just wanted to know about some incidents with those who have purchased stuff from Nigeria. I've a friend who ordered some skulls from a guy in Nigeria, Africa in January and they havn't reached him yet. Does shipping by sea take this long? Or could this be a sign by a scam artist?
Is Nigeria noteable for scams concerning their native animal parts, even though they are allowed by the US and their state?

I have ordered from South Africa before, and it generally takes no longer than a month for the arrival of my products. I'd check that one out if I were him.
I just received a shipment from Scotland by surface that was sent on Dec. 29 so I would advise you to be patient.
Nigeria ie. scam, different words for same thing. If he paid more for some kind of a kick back or was in any type of a deal what so ever besides only and exactly what he bought he got took. If he used a credit card he had better check its use and his credit. Only a complete fool would have any thing to do with anyone from Nigeria. Check the US Postal site or the FBI site and they have pages on pages of Beware of Nigeria scam material and repeat what I just said.
About 2 years ago I had a ford 801 tractor for sale on a farm classifieds. I had a guy from Africa contact me and wanted to buy it. He said he was contracted by a customer to buy a tractor. I had the price of $3500 on it. He said he was given a check for $7000. He would send me a money order for the full $7000. Then wanted to pick the tractor up, and for me to then send the reamining back to him wire transfer. I got on a few FBI websites and found out the Money orders were fake. And By the time everything cleared I was going to be left with the reamaining balance to cover at the bank and short a tractor. Needless to say I told him to go to hell. Odd, 1 week later I got an email from the same city but different guy wanting to do the same thing.
I give presentations to the public and teach a lot of classes to police officers on Identity Theft. Considering that the Nigerian Scam Letter is the 3rd largest industry for that country, I would have NOTHING to do with ANYTHING coming from Nigeria!
Just my $ .02, adjusted for inflation.

I'd avoid anything with the label "Nigeria" like I'd avoid buying capes from Orion.
I am a custom game call maker. I have had numerous requests for calls to be shipped to Nigeria. I asked other call makers if they too had the same requests. Seems they have been all over working their scams.
