I just done my first Pheasant. I used liqua cure. After drying and tumbling I was turning the head inside out (or out correctly)and ripped the skin very easily. What went wrong. Besides the dp vs tan argument.

Were you trying to inverte the head? Was it the fisrt time on this bird that you were trying to do so? Was the skull still in, in other words?
