Does anybody know if whitetail shoulder mount for pa test must have ear liner in ears or can it be bondo? Does the cartilige need to be removed? Sorry if the spelling is incorrect. Thank you very much!

you are judge on your mount so if bondo is what you want to use ,
here is what it says in the book .
Whitetail deer head- (Ears) paper or plastic or other media should be used in ears. Ear must be tight with no drumming or bridging.

if you elect the bondo method, it best be done right! ZERO drumming and correct shape

To Be sure that the bondo has a fine taper all the way to the edge. Just like a natural ear. All of my Pa students have used epley ear liners. With Key Ear epoxy to bond them. card the edges for a few days, and you will have a marvelous looking ear. Be sure to get every bit of cartilage out. if you use this method. Paul will feel the tips.
