Not a good idea

Epoxie is uneffected by most anything, but it's not soluble. Your water based paint is likely to separate and be a mess. Use tempera paint (powdered color) or red flocking material instead.

thank you

You can also use sidewalk chalk to tint epoxies.Take sidewalk chalk, available from wallyworld or other stores(the fat kind for kinds) and scrape a little into the epoxy. Doesn't take much and you can mix colors to get the shade you want. easy to use and i can always use the kids when i run out.

You may be able to use oil paint too?

Not sure because I have never used the ear magic but I have used oil paint mixed with sculpt all. It may be quite different so it may not work for you? I'd say use what George told ya unless you feel like experimenting. Good Luck, Dan Hudzik

just for sh-ts and giggles I tried water base, I could see no negitive effects and it seemed to make the EAR MAGIC alot smoother and easier to spread, may be something to consider!
