Of all the wire wheel fleshers out there witch is the best to buy.
Van Dykes carry a few different types,witch of theme are the best.
what do some of you guys think is the best

The hooded one

It's the one they picture Danny Owens with. I've had mine for nearly 30 years now and never had a single problem with it. The newer ones seem to be made a little more sturdier than the one I have, but mine ain't broke, so I ain't replacing it.

That's the one I use. I purchased the newer model which has a height adjustable wheel, narrower than the older model. Works great. They discontinued the plastic guard that catches alot of fat, but somewhere in the archives someone suggested taping a piece of cardboard to the shield for easy clean-up. Just a tip if you go with that model.

And by the 1/8 Lexan or Plexiglas and make your own splash guard. I still cover mine with plastic freezer wrap. Then I'm finished, I can just peel the plastic wrap off with all the gunk inside it and put on another.
