Deer Earliners

I have using McKenzie's Natralook earliners for some time now. But when i use there large earliners and need them in the back position that is were i have my problems. They only sell alert ears in large size. I have been cutting them and using Apoxie sculpt to position them back. I was just wondering what type earliners you guys are using when you mount deer with large ears in the back position?

Thank You For Your Help In Advance.

They have no But, so they can be used in any position. The detail In the ear canal is also much better. Making a nicer finished ear.

Eppley's only come in medium

Or I THINK that's right.

I use the Natra-Look and I simply removed the bases of the ear. Cut them off and then build your own earbutt with clay. Works for me.

try no liners

I just use the Bondo method. That way you can mount them anyway you want. I have no problems at all with that method.

I agree with George, just cut off the butts.

Nickey Bonura has some liners in both ears back and ears forward and also just the ear butts. These are available through Jim Allred Supply. Click on this link and it will take you to the page.

Either/Or

Any of those will work. Also try JOE COOMBS CLASSICS, or build the backward position you like on a mannikin then gently cut it away from the mannikin and cast it yourself for future use on other mounts. Good luck
