I just took in my first buffalo, looked in the archives but didn't really find what I'm looking for. Where do you need to take measurements on a buffalo shoulder mount and do you do it on or off carcass, or does it matter? Thanks guys!

do the same as for a deer, eye to nose and neck, do the neck after you skin it, if their is no meat to measure then measure the hide after tanning
Thanks montana. Thats what I did. Took me two hours to skin it out. I don't know if thats good or bad!
