How would I go about removing lice, ticks, or fleas from animals? I was thinking you could put the animal in a garbage bag, add some flea powder and shake. Would this work on fur bearer's and other small mammals? I've also heard of putting the animal in a container or garbage bag and spraying them with bug spray. Any other ways of getting rid of parasites, because I don't want to get lice or a disease while skinning or anyhting.

If you freeze the skins for a week it will kill everything . If you have to work on the animal will it is fresh , fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and spray the bugs as you see them . This dries very fast . Rick
