Fleshing machine

Im interested in a fleshing machine to speed up the time it takes to flesh deer capes and bears, any thoughts on which one is good all round (I hear great things about the Quebec fleshing machine), and any tips when it comes to fleshing. Thanks

And strong shoulders, a nice rug or rubber floor matt. Most of all, PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

I have a fleshing maching but don't use it for fleshing. I use it to shave hides out of the pickle before tanning. I flesh deer and bear by hand with a draw knife and PVC tube fleshing beam of 6" diameter. Lots of guys are using a pressure washer for fleshing, but when its cold up here, I don't think I would go for that. A deer cape takes only about 15-20 min to flesh on a beam. That doesn't include the turning and splitting etc... I think its easier to lay the cape on the beam and move the draw knife, than to continually move the hide across the round knife of the fleshing machine, but thats my opinion. This is in here already, use the search.
