I got some epoxy in the hair on the fox I mounted 3 days ago, can somebody tell me the best why to get it out without pullin the hair out?

I got some ear epoxy on some hair inside an ear on a deer mount awhile ago. I got it off with acetone and a q-tip just don't soak it. Wipe over and over again. Dry it with a paper towel and do it again. Most of it will evaporate anyway but I dry it anyway to remove residue. I hope this helps.
