Has anyone purchased the three video set from Matuska on Whitetail mounting? If so what do you think of it? I am looking for a video that will help me with finish work such as nose and nostril details.

This a wonderful set of tapes. Tom does a excellent job of showing and explaining the entire mount process from start to finish. Matuska is a wonderful supply company is you haven't used them give them a try.
One of the best overall videos available. You won't be disapointed.
For a complete process of mount a whitetail and finshing with competition quality I'd recommend the video from Dan Catlin of 5-0 Taxidermy. He's won numerous awards and has done a great job explaining everything that needs to be done for a great. He was a high quality camera, that shows great detail, and sold as a DVD.
