it's too late now, but for next time, how do I prevent the hardware cloth from leaving it's impression in the magic ears.(epox) it worked very well to hold the desired shape BUT left it,s impression, so now I have a cottontail with checkerboard ears, thinking about painting black and white and selling it to a NASCAR fan, they'll buy almost anything!

Or a finer grit of sand paper, or maybe coat the liners with modge podge, fin backing glue, any thing thin.
