Could anyone that knows please take the time to write down slightly detailed instructions on THE WHOLE process of tanning pelts. Including tanning, fleshing, pickling, degreasing and how to do these things and anything else?
Thank You

I just got done reading the Breakthrough manual for Mammal taxidermy and it's packed full of valuable info that your looking for. It's worth it's weight in gold if you're just learning.
What you're asking calls for a tremendous amount of time and space. Books(see Breakthrough example) have been written on the subject, so asking someone to write it here in a reply is just asking too much. Click the orange "search" button to the left of this screen, type in any of the 4 related words you used in your post, and read away.
Do the work like the rest of us.
Joe,as Lou, and Doug stated ,Breakthrough manual has a wealth of info on proper hide preperation. Also Bruce Rittel, did a vidio on the subject, (wich is exelent)both are available through WASCO.There are literaly DOZENS of pickeling/tanning/de-greaseing agents, All of wich work fine.It boils down to what chemicals you are comfortable working with.Do your self a favor and get both the manual, and vidio...You'll be glad you did,They clarifie 99% of the mystery.
Amy Richie has a web site that details her tanning method

HEY ORION? ARE YOU CALLIN ME A JERK FOR ASKING A QUESTION? I you don't feel like answering the question then there is a simple solution. Don't answer the question!
Although I understand your aggravation. You did ask "And anything else"
Orion's point is you did not ask a specific question. You asked for someone to take the time to give detailed instructions. Every bit of what you asked could be found by hitting the Tanning button to the left. Or by using the search button, and typing in the various Phases.
The simple fact is you want someone to take the time to tell you exactly how to tan. But you do not want to waist your time searching out the information. And studying it. some people see that as lazy, or an individual looking for a hand out, rather than a helping hand.
Do the research, then ask for clarification on what you do not understand.
and get a book on tanning. We all still know how to do that don't we?
