Turn or not to turn lips and eyes on mink?

I recently watched a squriel mounting video and during the skinning and fleshing he did not turn the eyes or lips. During the mounting the lips and eyes were glued to place? Is this a proper mounting technique for small animals like mink? Or should they be turned as with the larger animals?

Thanks

I turn them on all mammals even squirrels, then tuck as you would a deer. Not as much to work with, but it should be done.

Lips yes but tucking the eyes? LOL

and glue in place. thin skin dries quick so watch it or bag it for 2-3 days.

You could...

take shortcuts and just model everything in epoxy sculpt if you chose, or make an extra efort to do a good job. At least Mr. nameless, I hope you are turning and freshing your eyes. Bet you don't turn and bondo the ears of your small mammels either ?
