Im having a bunch of coyote dry tanned because im not sure which ones i will mount and which ones are for garments. My question is, will i have a hard time peeling out the ear cartaleg? I was told i could just rehydrate, and mount. I will be using an ear liner.

never been able to turn ears after tanning
thanks terry. but what would you do then in this situation? Use bondo or ? just try in to figure it all out, thanks again,

I could be wrong, but I was always told that there is a difference between garment tanning and taxidermy tanning. I am under the impression that soaking of a garment tan will cause it to fall apart.
Do you know what kind of tan it had? I imagine if you soak the ears long enough that you could manage to get them turned. I am betting lots of knife work, but it could probably be done.
