As I mentioned in previous posting, I'm new, so bear with me. I have searched the previous messages and could have missed the answer, but here goes. I have three questions
1. can stop-slip / stop rot / or blood out be used in conjunction with krowtan?
2. does krowtan work well on reptiles?
3. if the hide is not to be mounted, i.e. rug or wall hanger, will it remain pliable?
okay, I lied.. I have a fourth question, but not about krowtan. this one is about Never say dye... does it work well on ferns?
thanks in advance for your help

Stop Rot is great stuff. It can be used ON anything or WITH anything. I don't think there is anything about stop rot that would cause any complications. We are nowhere near finding out all the many uses this product may have.
1. yes - stop rot
2. no
3. yes, if krow-oiled and broke like directions state (but not as well as one from a tannery)
4. I don't know
i know it saved several deer capes that i would have tossed last year
it works so well it leaves you wondering about other possibilities
and experimentations
ive got pcs i kept untanned with only stop rot applied in a corner in a basket
i check it once a week
guess what no slippage
truly remarkable product
great having new and better things coming out
