Help with Fur Problem

Submitted by Judy on 4/23/05 at 12:50 AM. ( ) 207.135.101.22

Someone has given me a large trash bag full of her grandmothers fur stoles, cuffs, collars, and pieces. They seem to be in fairly good condition but can anyone think of a use for these furs? Does anyone use vintage furs for anything? (I could probably put them all together and make something weird! LOL) Any suggestions?

you could clean up at your next local Star Trek convention (no I am not one of "them").You could print up care instruction sheets with a warning not to feed them.

are always looking for scraps of fur. I just sold a very large box of them myself. Post a note and sell them. People use them to make dolls, bears and all sorts of things.

a vintage clothing store or costume shop. many are always looking for things of that nature.
OR if they are in good shape, have you looked at any of the Formal Clothing rental shops? if they rent formal wear, they could possibly use the stoles..
