Could you help me out?what do most shops include in there shop rules when it comes to picking up items/deposits etc.do you have a small card that you have customer sign or just inform verbally,I understand you need a record of some sort to cover problems such as spoiled hides or unpaid items but not sure how to go about wording such a contract. thanks

Hit the search button and type in "our contract" and you will see an example, Of course you can modify it to best suit you. Always have a contract and have them sign it before leaving. This is a business transaction and needs to handled that way. Cover your own butt.
