I'm doing a lifesize what is the best way to skin.Also do I need to do anything special for the paws.

Especially on the southern range cats that don't have winter pelage. Unless you sew a whole lot better than most of us, it's always wiser to have an incision in an area it won't be seen when it's sew up.

I just did a bobcat from Miss. on friday with a dorsal incision and the seam turned out great. Though alot of times a ventral might be better for you, I think like George said, it depends on how good you can sew. But it is possible to use a dorsal incision.
