Tagging my own animals

i have several birds and fish of my own in my freezer at the shop and i wam wondering how they need to be tagged. I live in michigan. If anyone has any comments or knowledge of how they need to be tagged please comment.

Fish and wildlife office a call. I had to have them explain the legalise for NC, but here they do not need to be tagged per se, but you have to maintain a log sheet accounting for all of the specimens on hand, to include roadkill animals for practice ...

give them a call for clarification.

the best thing to do is to contact the Michigan DNR. They are the ones that will be inspecting you. You need to do it the way they tell you that way when they do inspect you, you will have done everything correctly, or at least the way they want to see it done. Good Luck. Dan Hudzik

need to be logged into your log book here in WA. Any waterfowl has to be tagged and signed by you just like a clients bird and entered in the federal log book.

...tag 'em. The correct answer has alreasy been given - check eith the Michigan DNR. But, I don't think any DNR would bone you for having too much information....
