I have a decent 8 point i shot last year that i would like to put on a plaque. The rack has been outside since last archery season and the horns have turned white. What is the best way to reclaim the original color. Tried wood stain on another rack i had but the results were not all that great. What works best?

Aged Oak. Apply with paper towel, and use small brush around burrs to get in the bumps and crevises.
Go to the grocery store and get some Old English (Dark Walnut) furniture polish. This stuff works great if the color is not to far gone.
Go to that orange SEARCH icon and type in your question. Stop when you get to the potassium permanganate. The others are topical, KMNO4 actually penetrates and stains the antlers.
is what i use....its a powder..i pour a little onto a paper plate,,,and pour a little rubbing alcohol in a small lid....i put on a pair of jersey gloves over a pair of latex gloves,,,,dip my finger into the alcohol and then into the potassium permanganate,,then rub it into the antlers,,,,they will be purple until dry then they will be a golden tan color,,,,,coat the entire antler with the first coat,,,then repeat coats from the bases up,,,usually i shorten the distance up the beams with every coat,,,,the more coats that you put on the antleres the darker they will become,,,,,i like the bases a really rich brown,,,,,,but be carefull,,,,once its stained,,,its stained! try it atleast once,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hope this helps,,,,,jim
